Once your AdSense application approved, you can follow Google Adsense Code Implementation Guide to get started quickly. There are basically 6 steps to help you add an AdSense to your website or blog.
- Sing into your account and open AdSense Setup tab, On the Get Ads page, choose the AdSense for Content link. You may also choose other options.
- Next select the ads type, the default is Text and image ads unit. You may choose only text or only image type from drop-down text.
- Now, take a time to customize your ads unit size for fitting in your website or blog. You may choose your ads sizes in different size.
- Next things is select colors for your ads, you may choose default color or may be create your won. You will see preview of your ads when you will select any color.
- You can add a channel if you interested in tracking the performance of your ads. Channel provides more genuine reports for the performance of your ads. In you don’t like skip this step by click Continue.
- Next, you will be asking for name of your ads unit. This will help you to change the appearance or setting of your ads simply through your account in the future.
- Finally, your ads unit code is ready for your website. Just click anywhere inside the grey box to select the code, then copy.
- In order to display Google AdSense on your website or blog, it is very important that you copy the ad code exactly as it appears in your account and paste it directly into the HTML source code of your website or blog without any modification.
Be patient after adding code
If you don’t see any ads on your website after pasting code you need to wait generally 30 minutes to 48 hours.
